lovely linens for less

I was in New York City over the weekend and have lots to post about. While I was there I had the chance to shop with the amazing Eddie Ross and his partner, Jaithan. My husband and I enjoyed great food, beautiful art, and wonderful shopping.
On Sunday we popped into the home floor at Bergdorf Goodman and they were having a fabulous sale. For those of you who are lovers of Porthault Linens, you can find wonderful pillow shams, napkins, and travel cases at greatly discounted prices. I picked up two of these boudoir shams that were originally priced at $150 for $30 a piece. If you are in the area you you should stop by to scoop up some of these great deals.

FYI: If you are unfamiliar with the D. Porthault brand, it is an extremely high-end line of linens known for their colorful hand-printed patterns. These linens, first printed in 1925, are an extension of the company's long history of dressing the beds of the social elite such as the Kennedys and the Windsors. Ever-popular today among top interior designers and socialites alike, the brand continues to set the standard for fine linens worldwide. (Their Tigre print was featured in the Sex and the City movie!)
